Goodbye to our Parkhurst Home

In these times of tumultuous change, we too are needing to adapt and evolve.

If you've driven down 6th Street Parkhurst, you may have noticed that the time has come for us to let go of the space we have loved and enjoyed over the past 7 years. This does not mean we are disappearing… not at all! What we are doing is thinking differently about how we wish to exhibit the artists and their pieces. With restrictions preventing us from gathering with our collectors, appreciators and friends, our physical venue has become redundant, and we feel there are better ways to spend money than keeping lights burning in an empty building - devoid of visitors and personal interaction.

For now, we will be going entirely online - we will curate some beautiful exhibitions, featuring art that will be directly accessible from your desktop. But more excitingly, we will be scouting out a new gem of a place to call home. As we have grown, progressed, and adapted we feel the time has come for us to move to a space better suited to who we are now and how we wish to hold space for exhibitions going forward. While we wait for this devastating pandemic to pass, we will be doing our utmost to find the perfect new place for our gallery.

What we ask is that you keep following us on social media, because you never know… we may just be popping up around the corner from you. We are also going to be running some exciting specials on our featured artists. A little like buying a house… we will let you name your price and we'll let you know if your bid is accepted. There are some incredible pieces that have been pulled from our SHED and now is the time to get your hands on a piece we are sure you have been admiring. Facebook and Instagram are the places to see and hear it first. And in these uncertain times, it's always good to have the inside info!

We are truly grateful to all who have loved our Parkhurst home with us, those who have gathered and celebrated here with us. We will always treasure having been a part of this community. But please believe us when we say, it doesn't end here. This is just us evolving, adapting, and embracing the opportunity which this new chapter brings.

We will see you soon… and until then stay in touch.
